Mackie's full name is Maxwell Jayson and he is 37 as of March 2006. A former member of Cro-Mags, Charles & Eddie and Bad Brains, he joined Huey and Fast in 1999 after Steve left. In the band he plays the drums; both Fast and Huey were happy to have him with them as he can play a great deal of styles and fitted in well in the band. He left to follow other persuits and has since been replaced with ‘The Rhythm Man’, Frank.
